Students at the Moana Pasifika Vs Hurricanes Game
Dear Principal, my name is Tasha Bowen and I was working on the Presenting Team at the game mentioned above and had the opportunity to interview a couple of your students during the game.
Can I just say, how Bloody well behaved they ALL were. The whole school that was there!!!|
The 2 prefects were amazing to interview, and all the boys were soo respectful when I had asked them not to throw up inappropriate hand signs or yell out in the background. They replied with 'Yes Miss'.
Then when I got them to yell out in the background, they were brilliant.
They supported the game and the team by doing little hymns and chants right throughout the game and it really helped the atmosphere pumped for the team when they needed it most.
So I want to say Congratulations to you as the Principal and that you should be very proud of your boys as they were respectful and acted like gentlemen that night!!!

Good day,
I am emailing to provide feedback on a well behaved student. A student that lived out the Wesley College values; family , respect, responsibility and Excellence.
On Saturday night I attended the Moana Pasifika vs. Hurricanes game, with my family. During the game my daughter (aged 3 years old) wanted a Moana Pasifika flag. We went on a search around the stadium to the where one could obtain these flags. Unfortunately there was no more available. I saw a pupil neatly dressed in full school uniform with a flag in hand. We approached him to ask if he knew where we could obtain a flag. The pupil started respectfully explaining with the word "sir", that they were handed out during entry. During the explanation, the pupil 'Eric' saw the rather sad 3 year old girl and noticed that she was my daughter (family). Eric took on the responsibility and put out his hand with a flag in it and offered her his flag politely "you can have my flag". As such would like to compliment Eric Tausala.
Furthermore would like to compliment the Wesley College. The student clearly identified the importance of family, was well respectful and took on the responsibility to give his own to another. All of which encompassed excellence. To equip a young man with such values is aspiring.

We are running our Trees of Remembrance at Countdown North this week.
Last night one of the volunteers called me to pass on the lovely manners and chats from the students from your school.
He said they were extremely polite and interested.
It was great to hear this, Franklin is a fantastic community.
Wishing you all the best for the end of the school term.
Kind regards

RE: Wesley College Digital Navigators
Thank you for the warm welcome. Your team is making significant strides in digital technologies, evident from the capabilities of your students. I'd like to commend the students for their exemplary manners, consideration, and enthusiasm. Their digital skills left a lasting impression on us.
I'll be discussing the 2024 proposal tomorrow, and I'm looking forward to the exciting possibilities. Let's bring it to fruition!
I'd like to express my gratitude once more for the beautiful atmosphere and spirit we experienced at Wesley. Your hospitality was truly appreciated. The carrot cake and the chocolate cake were on point 😜.
I look forward to speaking soon,

Compliment from a Member of the Public:
They rang the school to commend a group of approx 20 students travelling on the train after Choral practice.
Very polite and considerate young people. A credit to the school.

I’m sending this email in relation to a bunch of your boys who have just disembarked the 394 bus today in paerata rise from Pukekohe.
These boys (and I did not get their names but one has a plaster under his eye) showed extreme maturity when a “special” member of society decided it was appropriate to call them some very unnecessary names. It could have turned into a brawl on the bus but your students took it upon themselves to de-escalate the situation and even when they left the bus said good bye to the member who had used the racial slurs.
Their respect and maturity in that situation was remarkable and showed the values of your school.
If I knew their names I would put them in this email because they deserve a pat on the back for their behaviour.
Not only am I grateful but I am proud of the young men you are teaching.
Regards, R Patrick
