The Guest Speaker Podcast

The podcast was created to help New Zealand students, parents and teachers better understand the wide range of career pathways available after school. Through relaxed conversations with inspiring guests from all walks of life, we explore their journeys, the decisions they made, the challenges they overcame, and the opportunities that helped shape their careers.

Our guests include professional athletes, doctors, entrepreneurs, tradespeople, scientists, chefs, media personalities, business leaders, and many more. Rather than focusing solely on the destination, we aim to give students a genuine insight into the pathway—subjects they studied, qualifications they completed, the setbacks they encountered, and the advice they wish they'd received at school.
